The colour of visible light depends on its wavelength. white light is all the colours of the rainbow.

        Hi Y’ight,

You have to see the light as a wave (electromagnetic wave). Then any colour is characterise by a frequency and a wavelength. The white light is called solar light and contains all the colour of the rainbow. We can’t see them as the eye see the results of it (superposition of all the frequency). However, there are other frequency that the eyes can’t see which are the ultraviolet (high energy) and the infra-red (low energy).
The only way to see all the different spectra of the white light it is to use a prism and you will see the rainbow
