• Question: Is their technology that can prevent the radiation of a nuclear bomb? If so how would it work?

      not as far as I know. lots of dense material (like lead or gold) will stop radiation if you have enough of it.

      There is no such special technology, but shielding has been known to be effective in case the radiation is at a distance. The space near the nuclear bomb impact will be difficult to shield, as nothing can survive the impact and explosion. If we consider the radiation, than shielding with anything of heavy mass like concrete would help (one can build special bunkers) But all these matter, only if the radiation impact was at a considerable distance!

      lead wall with a thickness of 1m is able to stop radiation
