• Question: if radiation is deadly why do we use it on humans without them having any protection to fight of diseases

      all drugs are dangerous in someway. we need to make sure the benefits outweigh the risks. radiation is good at killing cancerous cells.

      Because radiation is composed of several emission and some are less harmful for human than others. You can find two types of radiation, ionizing radiation and no ionizing ones. The first one is so powerful (in energy) that it can snatch an electron from a matter or object. This one is composed on three rays, gamma (the most dangerous one, high penetration), beta(medium penetration) and alpha (short penetration). The no ionizing one is radiation like WIFI, bluetooth, radio wave…so not harmful.
