        Hi 349mcb33. Do you like insect? if yes, I will advice you to try ant, they are easy to care of and they are passionate insects.
        It is really nice from you to try to make a bug hotel that will protect some important insect as bees or ladybugs from cold winter. The most important it to put space inside for them to be able to care about their larva.
        If you parents drink wine, they may have a wood box use to carry wine, otherwise a kind of crate. Then use what you can find in your garden or woods/park close to where you live, and organise them nicely inside the box. ladybugs like dry plant (so little dry woods), bees need to hole they like to dig hole so use hollow stems, then if you want to attract others insects as spider, use other dried plants as pine cone, dried plants…

      At my school, I am part of an Eco club called Team Green. Our latest project is to build a bug hotel to attract different types of insects. We are also building a bug hotel to increase our chances of winning the Green Flag Award! I like most insects and I enjoy learning new things about them.
